The California Welcome Center of Yucca Valley is proud to announce its 1st annual statewide art contest. This event is open to all eligible California residents. Eligible California artists are invited to apply for the opportunity to display and sell their artworks at the California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley, CA. Additionally, winners will be invited to set up a 10x10 booth at the 2019 California Welcome Center Yucca Valley Art Festival on May 4, 2019.
Simply download the 2019 Art Contest application, and complete per the Entry Guidelines. Applications are being accepted now through March 31, 2019. Winners will be notified April 15, and announced at the 2019 California Welcome Center Yucca Valley Art Festival on May 4.

One winner from each of 9 categories will be chosen to showcase and sell their artworks in the California Welcome Center for 9 months. The winning piece will be commission free. Any additional art for the duration of the 12 months will be at 25% commission. Artist may replace or add new artwork during the 12 month period as well. Winners will also be able to set up a 10x10 booth at the 2019 California Welcome Center Yucca Valley Art Festival. The event is free!
California Residents only. Must be at least 18 years or older. Cannot be affiliated within California Welcome Center of Yucca Valley employee, staff, judge or their family members. Cannot be a current artist on display at the center.
Entry Fee: $35.00 per entry / per piece and is non-refundable.
Entry Limit: 5 artworks per artist
Entry Form: Please fill out the form completely. Send its a current copy of your driver's license or ID, and photographed art.
Artwork: Only recent artworks (within the last 3 years) are eligible.
